I'm a storyteller and writer originally from Oakland, Calif. I have a deep love of comic books – the medium that helped me learn English as a young, first-generation American born of Mexican immigrants. My original stories include The Lunar Ladies (Scout Comics), California Love for the LA Strong anthology (Mad Cave Studios), and Major Thomás (Amazon / Comixology Originals).

In terms of praise and awards, I broke the Guinness World Record for Largest Comic Book Published in 2014 and was featured in the 2015 publication of the Guinness book. I also won the inaugural Comic Book Hero writing contest back in 2009 and was featured on TV ads that ran during The CW’s Smallville.
